Scala offers a new design in frameless shower door hinges. The body of the hinge remains fixed while the door pivots from a hidden axle. Scala hinges are single-acting and only swing outwards. A stop or strike is required to prevent the door from swinging inward. The Scala hinge works with 5/16" and 3/8" (8 mm and 10 mm) glass. The exterior area of the hinge can be customized with a specific design, making it ideal for hospitality applications. Hinges are "handed" (right hand/left hand) when viewed from outside the shower.
