This CRL Oil Dynamic 180º Glass-to-Glass Hinge swings in and out a full 90º, with stops at 0º, +90º, and –90º. Closing speed can be adjusted, making it a great alternative to floor closers and patch fittings. For doors up to 39" (1 m) wide. Maximum weight per two hinges is 176 lbs. (80 kg).
Designed for use on interior doors in damp and humid environments and high temperatures, such as steam rooms, Turkish baths and shower doors.
The Oil Dynamic Hinge represents the evolution and the synthesis between automatic mechanical hinges and hydraulic door closers. It allows you to design a self-closing door without the need of a floor-mounted or overhead closing device. This gives you the advantage of being able to install an 'all-glass' door in an existing opening without the need for extensive retrofitting of hardware into the floor or overhead.
Properly mounted, two Oil Dynamic Hinges will support a 5/16" to 9/16" (8 to 13.52 mm) thick glass door up to 39" (1 m) in width and weighing up to 176 lbs. (80 kg). A control valve lets you adjust the hinge to the desired closing speed. And Oil Dynamic is ambidextrous, with positive stops at 0º and 90º, giving you even more design freedom.
The Oil Dynamic Hinge features an aluminum body in distinct configurations for Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass applications. It has been subject to strict testing (over 1 million cycles), assuring long lasting service.
NOTE: Do not use more than two hinges on one door. Not suitable for exterior/outdoor use. For exterior use we recommend H8015JCBS.
