CRL Watertight Cover PlatesĀ are designed to reduce water leakage. This plate is a replacement to the standard plate. There are no modifications needed. Take off the standard cover plate and replace with the New Watertight Cover Plate, it's as simple as that.

NOTE:Ā When using a Watertight Cover Plate the door can only be opened outwards. We suggest installing a stop or jamb so the door cannot be pushed inwards. Use only the template included with our hinge. Cut-out dimensions for CRL hinges may not match those of other brands.
